Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use insightpal.ai or the InsightPal app. They are an agreement between you (or the company you work for) and InsightPal, Inc. By using InsightPal, you agree to them.

What InsightPal is

InsightPal offers statistical analysis for businesses. You can hand your question and data to a statistician, or use Data Studio to run guided analysis yourself. The free 15-minute discovery call does not commit you to anything.

Your account

Keep your login details safe and let us know if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be 18 or older and using InsightPal for business.

Paid work and plans

  • Projects with a statistician. We give you a quote before any work starts. Price, scope and timing are set out in that quote.

  • App plans. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

  • Refunds. If we find that your data isn’t compatible or that we can’t help with your question, we won’t charge you. We’ll know this within the first day.

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes unless stated.

Your data

You own the data you upload. You give us permission to use it only to do the work you asked for. You confirm that you have the right to share it with us and that it does not include anything you are not allowed to share, such as other people’s health records or payment details.


AI and model training. We do not let any third party use the data you upload, or the results we create from it, to train or improve their AI or machine learning models.

Our results

Our analysis is based on the data and information you give us. Results describe that data and come with stated uncertainty. They support your decisions but are not a guarantee of any outcome. You are responsible for the decisions you make with them.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site or the app. That includes trying to break, overload or reverse engineer them, accessing accounts that aren’t yours, or uploading anything unlawful, harmful or infringing.

Intellectual property

The InsightPal site, app, design and content belong to InsightPal, Inc.. The reports we deliver to you are yours to use within your business.

Ending your use

You can stop using InsightPal and close your account any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections about your data, our results, liability and governing law still apply after that.

Disclaimers

InsightPal is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, InsightPal is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost profits. The maximum total liability for any claim is limited to $500 or the amount you paid us for the work or plan in question in the past month before the claim, whichever is lower.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top, and for bigger changes we will let account holders know by email. Using InsightPal after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Delaware.
